Labradors have always been an integral part of my life. When I was a youngster, there were ducks hanging at our back door every Sunday night throughout hunting season that had been retrieved by our Labs. During the rest of the year, these kind-hearted, happy dogs were my constant companions while playing in our woods or swimming in Puget Sound. During their off-hours, our dogs could be found sleeping under the rhododendrons, in our kitchen, or on the entrance hall carpet. We had both "English" and "field" type Labradors. At the age of 12, I met a lady who bred and trained some of the first dual champion Labradors. What handsome and extremely well-trained dogs they were; I was so impressed and inspired by her dogs. Today, I continue with Labradors being much of the focus in my life. Himoon Labradors was established in the early 90's. I intend to breed healthy, handsome, and biddable dogs that are as comfortable in the field as they are in their family's home being sweet, reliable, and constant companions.
